Here at BOLDkids we feel incredibly lucky to be partnered with two amazing charities who support children with limb differences and their families.

Reach

Reach provides support and information to parents and their children affected by upper limb difference. It is a friendly, caring place offering fun activities to encourage Reach children to aim higher. They have 19 branches across the UK and Ireland, run by volunteers providing vital opportunities for children and parents to meet. They provide information and support through closed social media sites, What’s App groups, telephone, email, print and adaptation bursaries. They focus on the potential in all Reach children and celebrate their ability, never focusing on differences.

LimbBo

The LimbBo Foundation was started in 2018, inspired by the birth of Tommy who was born missing his right hand and part of his right forearm as a result of Amniotic Band Syndrome. Fast forward to 2021, they are now a registered charity supporting families worldwide. They have created adaptations including 3D printed prosthetics, bike adaptations and camera buddies. They provide support through social media networks and arrange events throughout the year helping children to meet other limb different families. They focus on raising awareness in the community, and celebrating potential, making sure no child feels left out.
